Eagle Rare: JAWS Rating 8.3/10

The Whiskey Noob review Eagle Rare

Eagle Rare Bourbon

A Whiskey Review by The Whiskey Noob

Definitely a bourbon that you have to get used to due to the higher proof at (90 proof); however, once you can get passed the ethanol burn it is a very enjoyable bourbon with a lot of good flavor.

You’re definitely going to have to let this one breathe once in your glass and it may be a little too strong for your first bourbon to try.

Definitely a punch in the face for a noob.

However, with the proce point being so affordable, it is definitely worth it.  Plus, you can always try to add a drop or two of water to water it down and to ease the burn.

Adding the water can also open up some new and different flavor profiles that you weren’t able to taste because the alcohol burn was too strong.

Just a suggestion from a Noob.  I personally don’t add water because my I figure my saliva will water it down enough and do the trick.

But hey, to each his own!
