Here’s a nice little punch in the throat for you!
This shit’s about 130 proof (depending on the bottling) which you can even sense in the nose.
Don’t put your nose too close to the glass when smelling the damn thing cuz it might singe off all your nose hairs!
You can feel this all the way down to your stomach just burnin holes and shit, but it is pretty damn tasty.
Not really a bourbon for those who can’t handle a really strong burn from such a high proof whiskey, but it’s sure fun to try! soooo give it a go!!!
I would suggest a few drops of water to ease the burn and to open up the flavors a little.
I would go as slow and little as one drop at a time and sip in between drops. You don’t want to add too much water all at once because that might just fuck up the drink itself.
Who knows, you might just find a perfect medium and then you know that exactly 3 drops of water makes it a perfect balance for you where you get all the flavor notes and still maintain a good amount of burn.
We’re all noobs here and it’s all about ersonal preference so there is no wrong or right way to drink and enjoy whiskey and don’t let anyone else tell you different!
