Jameson Irish Whiskey: JAWS Rating 7.8/10

Jameson Irish Whiskey

A Whiskey Review by The Whiskey Noob

The one that started it all for me.

I mean, I’ve had Jack and coke and have even taken shots of whiskey, but Jameson was the first whiskey I was actually able to tolerate and appreciate neat.

You’re probably wondering why the lower rating especially since this was my go-to for the longest time, well, after trying more and more whiskeys you realize there is a loooooot of good shit out there compared to this, but I can still drink and enjoy Jameson any day of the week, especially since you can get a bottle for $20 now.

Jameson is basically a safety net whiskey because you know that it’ll always be available and it’ll do the job.

Ain’t no shame in my game!  I’ll always be down to grab a pour of some Jamo at a bar especially if there’s nothing else available.

Jameson Irish Whiskey

Nose: honey, pear, a little citrus

Palate: vanilla, light citrus, caramel, light cocoa

Finish: short, light oak, easy to drink
