A Whiskey Review by The Whiskey Noob

Ahhhh good ole’ Macallan…

Known for making some of the best and expensive scotches in the world…and yes, some of the offerings are great!

And yes, some of these offerings are ridiculously overrated, overpriced and overhyped!

This maybe one of those bottles…

Ok, it IS good, but worth the $275+ price point for the JAWS rating given???

Nahhhh….you can definitely find something for waaaaayyyy less….

You can even find a handful of bottles that taste better and together cost less than the price of just ONE of thses bottles.

Macallan is like getting the top of the line Mercedes or Beamer…really good at what they do for what it is, BUT, Im looking for a fuckin LAMBO or FERRARI!!!  (especially if Im willing to pay the pretty price for it…)

For noobs, or people in general, who don’t know better and only buy this because of it’s popularity and name (thank you marketing department) they would be really surprised to find out what great, more affordable whiskies are out there.

You just need some guidance as to where to look and what to buy…(enter The Whiskey Noob)

I’m here for you ma noobs!

Cheers!
