A Scotch Whiskey Review by the Whiskey Noob
Ok, so I admit that I’m not a big fan of peat, but I still decided to give this a try considering it wasnt too bad in terms of price (around $10 for a dram)
Surprisingly, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be.
I feel like it would be a good transition whiskey for those interested in more peaty whiskies.
It’s tolerable to point where it’s not so overwhelming that you’d want to spit the shit out and rinse your mouth with bleach for a few hours…so no, its not THAT bad!!!
I’d definitely recommend this to a noob who is trying to get into the more peaty whiskies, but still…
Be careful because if you dive too deep into the peaty rabbit hole, then it might just ruin peaty whiskies for you a while…TRUST ME!

Nose: peat smoke, apples, apricots, rubber
Palate: light peat, raisins, toffee, peach
Finish: Medium, dried fruit, citrus, maple
