Westland American Single Malt Sherry Wood: JAWS Rating 8.1/10

The Whiskey Noob review Westland American Single Malt Sherry Wood

Westland American Single Malt Sherry Wood

A Whiskey Review by The Whiskey Noob

I visited Westland distillery last year and had a dope ass experience.  The distillery itself is pretty damn big.  The tour was dope and educational, the tasting room is nice and modern and the people who run the joint were very hospitable and cool as fuck, I highly recommend visiting.

It helps that the juice they make is all around delicious and I tried their whole core range.  I was bummed that I was a week too early and missed out on their limited annual released The Garryana.

But I have to say that this bottle definitely stood out to me from their core range.  I mean talk about a sherry bomb!

I think they did this sherry bomb better than a handful of scotches that I’ve tried and I would actually prefer this than to a handful of other whiskies know for being “sherry bombs” out there on the market.

It usually goes for $70+, but luckily I was able to find it for a better price while on a hunt.

That’s the great thing about just keeping your eyes open all the time…you never know when you might find something you weren’t even looking for…

Like a new job opportunity, new friendship or a new oddly shaped and colored mole you never noticed before on your back…hmmm, was that there before?

Oh well, happy Whiskey hunting everyone!  Cheers!!
