Highland Park Einar
A Whiskey Review by The Whiskey Noob
Finally got to try Highland Parks Einar which is only available for travel retail.
Didn’t know much about it, but so far I’ve had pretty good experiences with highland park so I figured it was a safe choice.
Had to detox a little after my trip and waited FOUR WHOLE DAYS to have a drink…man it was tough!
But I figured four days was a long enough break. I mean, the whiskey wasn’t going to drink itself!
This, however, was pretty easy to drink…it wasn’t the best Highland Park out there, but glad I was able to try it…
Makes me wonder what other travel retail offerings are available and if they’re better than this one.
There were a lot of HP options available in duty free that I had no idea about. Actually, there were tons of travel retail only options from a lot of distilleries out there that all looked pretty damn good!
Now that I think about it…
Okay, Ima go ahead and book myself another international flight just to see what else they have at the duty free…biyeee!!!
Highland Park Einar
Nose: vanilla, orange, tropical fruit, lemongrass
Palate: hint of peat (like ash), pineapple, apple, orange peel
Finish: medium, light peat, butterscotch, bitter back end that lingers too long
