A buddy brought this over to my house one time and it wasn’t too bad.
I appreciated the thought so we drank it; however, we did drink it more once the other really good stuff was gone.
It’s unfortunate, but hey…when you cant taste the good stuff anymore, drink the “mehhh” stuff!
I feel like it’s a great strategy to conserve the “good” stuff.
What is the point of drinking your good whiskey when your tongue is all numb and it gets to a point where everything tastes the same?
I say work your way down…start at the top shelf and work your way to the bottom shelf…am I right?
Harder to do when you’re already tipsy and if you reach toward the bottom shelf you increase the likelihood of tipping over and smacking your head.
Thus, the ever risks we take as a whiskey noobs!
But all in all a risk that we are willing to take!
Maybe we should all start wearing helmets when we drink whiskey. I feel like it’s just a smart move in my opinion…am I right???
Whiskey helmets…ha!
Pretty soon we will have whiskey, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards…whiskey drinking might end up being a high intensity sport! I can totally see it now.
Or maybe I may have had to much whiskey to drink tonight as I write this. Seems like more of a possibility than not.

Palate: malt, honey, banana, caramel
Finish: medium, brown sugar, banana (sense the theme???)
