Yamazaki 12 Year Old
A Whiskey Review by The Whiskey Noob
Probably after Hibiki, this was one of the other, most hyped up or talked about Japanese whisky that I heard about.
It was always hard to find in a liquor store and when I was able to find it, it was stupid expensive! No way I was going to spend that much to TRY a whiskey.
So, I tried it at a local bar and had some high expectations, luckily my expectations were met. I thought it was pretty damn good; however, its price point per bottle (especially now with all the mark-ups) probably wouldn’t make this a daily drinker type of thing, but still…hella good!
If you’re lucky enough to find one closer to retail ($100 ish I think) then I say it would be a decent grab, but studiply enough, I have seen this for almost $300!
Fuck all that…
