White Oak Akashi

A Whiskey Review by The Whiskey Noob

Saw this in a casino and was really interested because I’ve never seen it before.   I was pretty stoked to try it and I was talking to the bartender a little about whiskies and it seemed like he knew what he was talking about and said he liked this.

He didn’t know shit…

It’s a good thing he turned his back to me to pour someone else a drink or else he would have seem me make a “holy shit this is not good” face.

I think that will be the last time I trust a bartender for his/her opinion on whiskey.  Especially now that I kiiinda know a little more.

It’s always easy to persuade a Noob because as long as you talk confidently enough thenmost likely he/she will take your advice

I think I’ll just do my own due diligence and research whiskies I want to try.  That way I can just blame myself if it’s not good.

Oh well, lesson learned!
